HVAC PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR FOR NEW BUILD PROJECT DIVISION

We are looking for a high quality, ambitious HVAC Project Manager to join our New Build Project team at Airport West. Our team are young yet have loads of experience and knowledge. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Hold strong and sustained professional relationships with a network of active builders and architects

· Ability to generate new business opportunities through network leverage and proactive sales actions

· Interpret technical drawings, specifications and contractual documentation

· Co-ordinating system design with builders and architects

· Liaise with customers, contractors, site managers, installers for project planning & implementation

· Prepare accurate project costings, quotes, proposals and documentation.

· Research products and materials to meet project needs and financial parameters

· Oversee the work of technicians, engineers and contractors to ensure high quality workmanship

· Manage the financial performance of a project to ensure budgets are met and margins retained.

· Identify and mitigate project risks and initiate remedial actions as and when required

· Prepare project reports and documentation when required

· Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards and company procedures/policy

· Maintain current, accurate and high-quality communication pathways around the project progression, status

and future actions.

· Team player with an ability to lead in a collaborative and co-operative manner

· A sense of urgency and desire to maintain high levels of responsiveness to customers and other stakeholder

needs

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Commercial project estimating/management experience (minimum 3 years)

· Experience in designing light commercial HVAC system/projects, installation practices and standards

· HVAC trade qualification

· Successfully priced and delivered HVAC projects to $500,000

· A detailed understanding of construction processes within the light commercial sector including systems

and HVAC detailing

· Attention to detail

· High level of customer service responsiveness

· Great written and verbal communication skills

· Strong leadership capability with effective stakeholder management skills
