Our clientele exclusively consists of NDIS participants. We are seeking a compassionate, trauma-informed, and dependable Support Worker to assist clients with:
Activities of daily living and daily living tasks
community engagement
emotional regulation
Our clients live with varied physical, psychosocial, and intellectual disabilities and sometime with multi diagnosis. This role requires someone who has the capacity to provide empathetic, meaningful and dignified support to an array of needs.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate emotional intelligence, flexibility, and a deep understanding of mental health support, physical disability support, aged care support as well as non-clinical personal health / medication support.

The right candidate will be passionately driven to providing a standard of care that has the greatest and most meaningful impact to our most-valued clientele. To be considered for the position, the right candidate will have:
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Yellow Card
'Quality, Safety and You' - NDIS Worker Orientation Module, Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals Module, New Worker NDIS Induction Module
Current First Aid & CPR
Reliable vehicle & comprehensive insurance (for community support roles)
Smartphone with access to email / scheduling apps
Uphold Work health safety legislation and practices.
Uphold NDIS Practice Standards, code of conduct and legislation requirements
Strong written and verbal communication and comprehension skills
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage various priorities within a tight time-frame
Self-starter who can work autonomously
Enthusiasm to connect with clients, hear their story and identify and strengthen their support
An energetic, team focused, CAN-DO attitude with a passion for your role
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts as per business demands
You are accountable, honest and will fit into a culture of transparency and integrity
You understand the importance of your obligations regarding our clients’ privacy and confidentiality in all respects
You have a positive disposition, willingness to learn and take pride in your representation of our business
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Personal & Domestic Assistance
Support with personal hygiene, continence, dressing, and grooming as needed
Medication prompts and supervision (non-clinical)
Meal preparation in accordance with dietary needs
Light domestic duties (dishes, laundry, basic tidying)
Psychosocial & Emotional Support
Implement and reinforce emotional regulation strategies
Provide consistent, calm, and reassuring presence
Recognise and de-escalate early signs of distress or agitation
Encourage confidence, autonomy, and dignity in daily routines
Community & Social Participation
Accompany participant to appointments or social outings
Support with shopping or accessing community services
Promote meaningful engagement through hobbies and gentle activities
Recordkeeping & Administration
Provide verbal and written shift notes
Alert family members or relevant stakeholders to incidents, changes in behaviour, mood, or physical health
Maintain respectful communication with client, family, and allied professionals
Desirable Attributes
Experience supporting clients with psychosocial disability, dementia, or physical and or cognitive impairments
Knowledge of trauma-informed care and recovery-based practices
Lived experience or deep empathy for carers and NDIS participants
Clear boundaries, professional integrity, and emotional maturity
Schedule & Hours
Flexible casual roster based on participant needs and support funding
Weekday and occasional weekend work
Short shifts (2–4 hours) with potential for longer periods during appointments or outings
This is a casual position. Supervision may be provided by the client’s representative or allied health professionals.
