About the role

Sunshine coast scaffolding is seeking a skilled and experienced Scaffolder to join our team in Maroochydore, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will involve constructing, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures to support construction and maintenance projects.

What you'll be doing

Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and engineering specifications

Inspect scaffolding equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition

Collaborate with construction teams to understand project requirements and plan scaffold configurations

Maintain detailed records of scaffold installations, modifications, and removals

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

Provide training and supervision to less experienced scaffolding crew members

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Scaffolder in the construction industry

Formal scaffolding qualifications, such as a Scaffolding Certificate or licence

Excellent understanding of scaffolding techniques, materials, and safety requirements

Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Commitment to working safely and promoting a positive safety culture

Willingness to work in a team and provide guidance to less experienced team members

Reliable, flexible, and able to work in various weather conditions
