Opportunity:
You will be a business services senior accountant who is looking to move away from traditional advice and compliance and move into business consulting, strategy and advisory led work, based on real-time business information, numbers, cashflow, etc.

The firm: A national advisory firm, with expertise in sport, health and lifestyle, are looking to hire a senior accountant. This firm has proven success with hiring business services accountants and training and developing them successfully.

Snapshot of the responsibilities:

• Analysis of financial data, including monthly or periodic management accounts, budgets & forecasts and analysis of financial ratios.
• Developing financial models, conducting benchmarking and process analysis.
• Utilising business intelligence software applications to monitor performance.
• Conducting business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models.
• Preparing and delivering written reports by presenting to clients on a regular basis.

To be considered:

• CA/CPA qualification or near completion, with at least 4 years of experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm working with companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Experience with Div 7a, CGT, FBT, and other tax issues related to business services.
• Experience with Xero Practice Manager and associated modules, including Xero Certifications (preferable); experience in MYOB and other software is accepted too.
• Experience working in a team and as an individual; where strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed
