Plant Operator

Location: Pasadena, SA
Hours: Monday to Friday, Casual Full-Time Hours
Pay Rate: $40.00ph + super (depending on your experience)

About the Role
The Plant Operator position is vital in maintaining the cemetery grounds by preparing burial sites and supporting cemetery services. This includes operating trucks and plant machinery such as excavators and front-end loaders, along with gardening equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with the preparation of burial sites, including digging graves and positioning headstones
• Safely operate a range of civil construction plant and equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes and rollers
• Undertake routine maintenance and inspections of plant machinery and equipment
• Respond to emergency repairs and site remediation as require
• Response to visitor queries in a sympathetic manner
• General Garden maintenance
• Assisting with cremation as required

Essential Requirements

• Current Driver’s License and transport
• MR Drivers License
• Plant machinery tickets (Excavator, Front Loader)
• Previous experience in civil grounds and plant operation
• White Card (Construction Industry Card)
• National Police Check (Or willingness to obtain)
• Willing to undergo functional assessment and D/A testing
