About the role

At Family First Early Learning, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in our centre located in Virginia, NT. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality early childhood education and care, nurturing the growth and development of our young learners.

What you'll be doing

Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that support the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children

Providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that meets the individual needs of each child

Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor learning experiences

Collaborating with parents and families to build positive partnerships and support children's learning and wellbeing

Ensuring compliance with all relevant early childhood education regulations and standards

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our centre's policies, procedures and practices

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (0r 50% completed)

Valid registration as an Early Childhood Teacher in the Northern Territory

Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering high-quality early childhood programs

Strong understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
