We require a Warehouse Forklift Operator Storeperson to join our growing team.

The Role

As part of the Warehouse Team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking off stock and placing them in the warehouse ready to be stacked away.

Casual position

Immediate start

Monday – Friday hours

Duties/Responsibilities

Unload incoming deliveries of stock from the truck with the forklift

Check off stock against supplier invoices and ensure what has been invoiced has been received

Communicate with the office about discrepancies, short deliveries, damages etc

Manual handling of stocks to replenish warehouse

Rotation of stocks to ensure FIFO using high reach forklifts

Stocktake and batch checking of expiry dates

Cleaning of warehouse

Other tasks as directed by Senior Storeperson and/or Management

Daily Operator checklists to be filled in – equipment pallet mover or forklift

Maintain a clean and safe workspace

Abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Abide by all Traffic Management Plan rules and regulations

Skills/Competencies Required

Forklift license

Be fit as heavy lifting is required

Be proficient in the English language and have great writing, reading and speaking skills

Be able to work in a robust environment

Have a sense of humour

Be reliable, punctual and have initiative

Have a high level of attention to detail

Have full working rights in Australia

Having experience in the food industry is highly considered
