Terra Drilling are seeking Diamond Drillers for an immediate start.

Terra Drilling provides quality, safe and efficient surface diamond drilling throughout Australia, including core, directional, metallurgical and geotechnical drilling services.

Since Establishment in 2008, Terra Drilling has built a reputation as a diamond drilling specialist in the West Australian Goldfields, Yilgarn and Pilbara mining regions. The company is committed to providing quality-drilling services for mineral exploration, mining and geotechnical clients.

With an extensive client base we cater for explorers to mid-tier miners, right through to major multi national mining houses.

Our positions offer an excellent opportunity to escape the city and experience the Australian Outback whilst earning excellent hourly rates including daily metre bonuses! You will be trained to a high quality and will work closely with our highly experienced Supervisors for learning and potential progression towards certificates in drilling modules. Our 4:2 roster gives you plenty of time with family and friends when on break.

To be Considered for these positions, you must:

Hold a valid Heavy Rigid Driver’s license or at minimum be obtaining (HR-A).

Current First Aid Certificate (or able to obtain).

National Police Clearance (within 3 months old).

Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience on the levers as a surface diamond core driller.

Have an understanding of the role and be willing to live in remote exploration environments.

Work a continuous shift roster of day and nights on varying rosters.

Good Communication and ability to work in a small team environment.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency and initiative.

Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills as you must be able to think on your feet.

Drillers must hold Cert III in Drilling Operations minimum.

All candidates must also have the ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug/alcohol screening.
