Job Title: Carpenter – Construction & Civil Construction Projects

About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Carpenters for a variety of construction and civil infrastructure projects across the Townsville region. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality work across formwork, structural builds, and internal fit-outs. Projects range from commercial buildings and residential developments to civil works including bridges, culverts, and large-scale infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Construct, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete pours (slabs, columns, walls, footings).
• Perform first and second fix carpentry for internal and external fit-outs.
• Frame walls, install doors, windows, and cabinetry.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with other trades and site teams.
• Adhere to WHS standards and maintain a safe and tidy work environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Trade qualified carpenter (Cert III in Carpentry or equivalent).
• Proven experience in both construction and civil carpentry environments.
• Strong formwork and fit-out skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Additional tickets (e.g., Working at Heights, EWP, Confined Space) are advantageous.
