As our business is rapidly expanding we are seeking a Truck Allocator and a Storeman to join our experienced team.

TRUCK ALLOCATOR ROLE (administrative):

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Truck Allocator to join our expanding team.

As a Truck Allocator, you will play a key administrative role in managing the logistics and scheduling of our fleet. This position requires excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with the drivers to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of our vehicles in our head office in Outer Harbor.

Key Responsibilities:

Allocate and schedule our fleet of 8 trucks based on operational requirements.

Coordinate truck movements and deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service.

Maintain accurate records of truck usage, service schedules, and driver availability.

Liaise with drivers, compound staff, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.

Respond to customer and internal requests in a timely and professional manner.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Have prior experience in fleet management, truck allocation, or logistics coordination (preferred).

Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Have experience driving manual vehicles.

Be able to work autonomously.

Work with the storeman to organise the daily schedule.

Local road knowledge.

Be a Non-Smoker

Obtain a police clearance

Pass a health clearance

Be available Monday to Friday 0700 - 1600

STOREMAN ROLE:

Plenty of driving experience and a high level of attention to detail. You will be receiving and dispatching cars at our locations at Osborne and Outer Harbor. You will also help out at our Quarantine Cleaning Facility at Outer Harbor, removing contaminants from imported vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain the organisation of our Osborne and Outer Harbor locations, ensuring vehicles are efficiently stored and safely moved between sites.

Supervise the receiving and dispatching of cars, ensuring all vehicles are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Work with the allocator to organise the daily schedule.

Assist with the coordination of vehicle movements between sites to maintain smooth operations.

Perform biosecurity cleaning on imported vehicles at our Quarantine Cleaning Facility to remove contaminants and meet regulatory standards.

A Successful Candidate Will:

Have experience driving manual vehicles

Be able to work autonomously

Be a Non-Smoker

Obtain a police clearance

Pass a health clearance

Be available Monday to Friday 0700 - 1600

A valid MSIC and forklift license would be advantageous.

Please note BOTH of these roles will require the ability to obtain an MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) and police clearance.
