We are a passionate group that work to create outstanding results with our consulting services in Southern Queensland, seeking an experienced and driven Land Surveyor to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver a wide range of surveying projects with a focus on precision, innovation, and collaboration.

About the Role

As a Land Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing fieldwork, managing junior surveyors, and producing high-quality survey documentation. You’ll play a key role in planning, supervising, and executing complex surveys for land development, infrastructure, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct and oversee field surveys using GNSS, total stations, and other industry-standard equipment

Manage data processing and preparation of survey plans, models, and reports

Liaise with clients, engineers, co-consultants, project managers and planning authorities to define survey requirements and ensure deliverables meet specifications

Mentor and support junior team members in technical tasks and professional development

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, safety standards, and quality control procedures

Use CAD and surveying software (e.g. AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center)

About You

Degree or diploma in Surveying, Geospatial Science, or equivalent

Current Registered Surveyor

Cadastral Endorsement preferred

Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in cadastral, construction, and/or engineering surveying

Proficient in survey equipment, GNSS, and processing software

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
