About the role

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join the team at James Parry Decorators', a well-established painting and decorating company based in Perth, Western Australia. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality painting services to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces to a high standard

Applying a variety of paint finishes, including emulsion, gloss and specialized coatings

Carrying out surface preparation tasks such as cleaning, sanding and priming

Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy throughout projects

Providing excellent customer service and liaising with clients as needed

Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth delivery of projects

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Painter, ideally within the trades and services industry

ABN

Strong practical skills and knowledge of painting techniques and materials

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and plans

Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Excellent time management and organizational skills

A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work as part of a team

Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, valid construction white card.
