About the role:

• Well-established pharmaceutical company
• Ongoing casual contract with potential for permanency
• Monday to Friday with standard working hours
• Flexibility to do weekend work

About your duties:

• Perform microbiological testing on samples including bioburden, pour/spread/streak plating and membrane filtration
• Support the team to ensure that the assays performed in each department are prepared and executed in accordance with the code of GMP
• Maintain adequate documentation system
• Perform result entry in Laboratory Information Management System
• Participate in investigation of out of specification results as required
• Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained / prepared in accordance with approved procedures.

About you:

• A Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience performing microbiological testing in a GMP or NATA accredited laboratory
• Previous experience in bioburden testing/membrane filtration highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills and a great attitude.
