THE COMPANY

yousta is a small family business that supplies a diverse range of products to the construction industry. We’re looking for an experienced driver to help us pack orders, load vehicles and deliver construction supplies around Sydney using our vehicles (vans and small trucks).

THE ROLE

The driver works as part of a team to pick-up, put-away, pack and deliver products to ensure customers receive their orders in full and on time. This involves:

Picking products using scanners, counting and weighing quantities and packaging orders

Preparing skids and pallets for transport

Loading delivery vehicles and strapping down goods

Delivering packages to customers using delivery vans and/or trucks

Picking up goods from suppliers

Receiving goods into the warehouse using scanners

Transferring goods from receiving into their bin locations using scanners

Moving goods around the warehouse using a forklift or other manual handling equipment

Following all company processes and completing required documentation

Cleaning and tiding delivery vehicles and the warehouse as required

Ensuring equipment and vehicles are in good working order and notifying the manager of issues

Undertaking all duties in a responsible manner and abiding by OHS policies and procedures

Following any further direction provided by management

YOU

You are an experienced driver that takes pride in their work and has a genuine commitment to quality. You will also have the following skills and qualifications:

Current Australian driver’s licence

Current forklift licence

Ability to drive manual vans and small trucks

Good communication skills

Moderate computer skills

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to lift heavy items

Positive attitude

Capable of working in a fast paced environment

Ability to work in a team and take direction from others

Requires limited supervision

Takes responsibility for their work
