About the role

Are you an inspiring educator ready to make a real impact in an alternative education setting? TAFE Gippsland is looking for a passionate, VIT registered teacher to deliver the Victorian Pathways Certificate and/or VCE Vocational Major to a small cohort of senior secondary students. As a teacher you will be responsible for planning, preparation and teaching of programs to achieve student outcomes and curriculum requirements.

A strong understanding of integrated approaches to vocational education

You can plan and implement authentic, motivating and, impactful teaching strategies, leveraging technologies to enhance learning experiences

Ability to monitor and assess student learning, using data to inform teaching practices and provide valuable feedback on student learning growth

You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to build collaborative relationships with students and colleagues

A commitment to reflection and continuous professional development, always striving to elevate the quality of your teaching and learning

A commitment to TAFE Gippsland’s values of Responsibility, Integrity, Collaboration and Excellence

Qualifications and experience

A relevant teaching qualification in either primary or secondary education.

Previous applied learning teaching experience (desirable but not mandatory)
