About the role

Helix Rigging and Fabrication Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker-Rigger to join our team in Flinders View, QLD. This full-time role is crucial in supporting our operations and delivering high-quality structural steel, rigging, metalwork & general engineering projects to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Processing, fabricating & welding structural steel

Reading and interpreting technical drawings

Operating various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders

Performing on-site activities, such as lifting, moving, and installation of materials

Ensuring all work is completed to the high safety and quality standards

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Boilermaking, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

Experience as a Boilermaker-Rigger, preferably in a similar industrial environment

Experience and ability to work on construction sites

Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain relevant tickets and certifications
