About the role

Coastal Demolitions is seeking an experienced Asbestos Labourer to join our team in Carrara, Queensland. This full-time role will see you playing a critical part in the safe removal and disposal of asbestos across our various demolition and construction sites.

What you'll be doing

Safely remove, handle, and dispose of asbestos-containing materials as per relevant regulations and safety protocols

Operate specialised asbestos removal equipment, including vacuum cleaners and enclosures

Provide support to asbestos removal supervisors and team members

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Ensure all relevant documentation and reporting is completed accurately and on time

Actively participate in ongoing training to keep your skills and knowledge up-to-date

What we're looking for

Relevant trade certificate or experience in asbestos removal and demolition work

Proven ability to work safely with hazardous materials

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
