Family owned Civil Drainage company have an exciting opportunity for young, enthusiastic Civil Labourers & Pipe Layers wanting to progress in Civil Drainage.

Large pipe line of work has allowed us to branch out and make available the opportunity for active & motivated labourers & pipe layers, who are keen and dedicated to working full time in the Civil Construction industry with the potential to obtain Pipe Laying qualifications.

You will work in a crew with one or both of the directors, for a one on one practical training including, but not limited to the following:

Lay storm water

Lay sewer mains

Lay water mains

Construct Manholes & Pits

Read plans

Set out trenches and levels

Shoring installation

Pressure testing water mains

Finish concrete works

Working around live services

Operate site plant and equipment

WHS

The candidate must have :

Minimum 1 year of experience in Civil Construction

QLD Drivers licence

Construction White Card

Own transport

PPE

The ability to work a physical job

Preferred experience and tickets but not essential :

Construction

Concreting

Machinery tickets

Confined Space ticket
