About Our Client

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin.

What you will be Doing

As an Auto Electrician on our coal mine site, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our heavy mobile equipment and light vehicles. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in mining equipment, including haul trucks, excavators, dozers, and ancillary vehicles.

Installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems, wiring, and components to meet operational and safety standards.

Conducting scheduled maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with site requirements.

Completing accurate service reports and documentation in line with company procedures.

Adhering to strict safety protocols and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

What you will need

Trade Certificate

Prior Mine Site Experience as an Auto Electrician

Standard 11, Coal Board Medical and Drivers License
