I am currently searching for a detail-driven, immediately available Credit Controller to join our clients team in Brisbane's South. This temporary role is perfect for someone with great people skills and a strong background Credit Control in fast-paced environments.

Description

This role requires:

• Managing and maintaining customer accounts, ensuring timely payments are received.
• Conduct credit checks and assess customer credit applications.
• Follow up on overdue payments and negotiate payment plans where necessary.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure data accuracy within the company's systems.
• Prepare and distribute customer statements and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage credit limits for customer accounts.
• Provide regular updates to management on outstanding debts and collection efforts.

Profile

The successful Credit Controller must have:

• A complete understanding of credit control and a strength in debt collection practices.
• 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Proficiencies in various tier-one accounting and finance software systems.
• Excellent communication, customer service and negotiation skills.
• A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
