Site Quality Advisor - 2/1 Roster - 11 Hour Days

Our client, a respected engineering and project delivery consultancy, is seeking an experienced Site Quality Advisor to support the quality assurance of a major iron ore mining project in Western Australia. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster with 11 hour days. Currently, the position has been scoped with upgrades to the facility. This position will initially be a 6 month contract however there is strong potential for further work after this period.

Key Responsibilities

Manage site contractors and Perth based stakeholders

Manage audit requirements of the Engineer’s Site construction management team

Perform regular site inspections, evaluate risks, and carry out compliance audits to ensure environmental standards are met.

Gather, analyse, and interpret environmental data from the site to aid in reporting and drive ongoing improvement efforts.

Organize and conduct environmental training sessions and inductions, including raising awareness of the Environmental Management System (EMS) among construction and operational teams.

Offer daily environmental guidance and assistance to project managers and on-site personnel.

Communicate the results of audits and compliance reviews to Construction and Project Managers.

Contribute to the implementation of focused environmental initiatives related to dust control, waste management, vegetation preservation, and biodiversity protection.

About You

Previous experience in a similar role within an office based and site based environment

Strong ability to communicate with site contractors and stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a site-based, fast-paced construction environment.

Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders and influence compliance outcomes.
