Alex Fraser Group has an opportunity for a committed Loader Operator to join our team based at our Clarinda Recycling Facility. Shifts required are Monday - Friday, hours are 6:00am to 2:00pm and Saturday morning 6:00am to midday. With potential for overtime.

In your new role with us, you will:

Undertake the role of primarily operating a Komatsu WA500 in a fast-paced environment

Operate a sales loader with Loadrite scales, with a focus on providing a positive customer service approach whilst maintain strong safety standards.

Maintain even floor levels to provide a safe space for customers to tip off demolition waste

Loading concrete and brick into the quarry crusher for processing into road base products

Maintain and cut haul roads

Work in the crushing plant doing manual tasks and maintenance

Potential to operate PC350 excavator in the future

This role is a great fit if you are:

Positive attitude with strong communication skills

You must hold a LL ticket and have experience on large loaders in a fast-paced environment (typically 40 cycles per hour)

Other tickets (LE, LS, HR) are advantageous

Must have sales as well as scales experience

Able to set high standards for safety, productivity, and efficiency

What we offer:

Base rate from $32.42/hour, pending experience/qualifications, plus penalty rates, plus super

$31 daily allowance
