Our client is a leader in the sugar milling industry and is requiring a Cane Rail Maintenance Worker to join their team. This labour hire vacancy will involve the maintenance and repairs to new and existing cane railways.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

Mandatory:

Current MR minimum Driver’s Licence

Construction Industry White Card

Desirable:

High Risk Work - Doggers and Riggers

A HC or MC licence

Franna crane (non slew) experience and/or ticket

HIAB crane truck ticket and experience

Experience operating a variety of machinery such as: backhoe, crane, loader, forklift, excavator

Welding Experience

To be considered for this role you must possess the following attributes:

Sound numeracy & literacy skills

Physically fit - This role involves manual handling tasks, which may include but not limited to carrying, shovelling, digging, hammering etc

Able to work within a team environment & possess good communication skills

Ability to identify problems quickly and suggest recommended improvement

Be safety conscious and quick thinking while working around machinery

Commitment to adhere to both RSM People's and the Host Employer's workplace health and safety procedures, policies and relevant statutory legislation.
