Positive Outcomes Psychology
Posted 2 days ago
Our practice is growing! An exciting opportunity has opened up to join our well-established practice. We're proud to be one of the few psychology practices that combine extensive clinical experience (combined 35 years' experience in psychology) with a strong results-focused approach—using EMDR alongside a range of evidence-based modalities. You’ll be joining a team with a wealth of knowledge to share, so you’ll feel genuinely supported as you continue to grow and refine your skills.
We’re looking for a psychologist who’s committed to building a long-term career in the field. Someone who’s passionate about deepening their knowledge, growing alongside the practice, and making a lasting impact in their clients’ lives. If you find it fulfilling and energising to see your clients make rapid, meaningful progress—this is the kind of work we do, and this could be the perfect fit for you.
What We Offer
A supportive team environment where your input is valued.
The chance to learn and collaborate with two experienced psychologists.
A four-day work week, with a late start and late finish on two of your working days.
A strong EMDR focus — ideal for someone already trained or eager to develop in this area. You'll have the opportunity to refine your EMDR skills in a practice where it’s used consistently with all clients, a rare approach not commonly found in most practices.
A practice that embraces modern, progressive, evidence-based approaches to therapy.
A director that supports and provides the space for you to pursue an area of interest, allowing you to develop your expertise in a direction that excites you.
Clients across the lifespan.
Fully supported administration—our team handles all your admin, so you can focus entirely on your clinical work.
Routine use of psychometric testing for all clients to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, with training and support provided.
Annual $1500 professional development budget.
A genuinely fun, friendly work culture.
A secure employee role (not contractor), designed to offer long-term stability and the chance to become an integral member of the practice.
Remuneration above the Award rate, calculated based on your level of experience.
A beautiful, calming office space.
