Having recently expanded into Western Australia, we're now seeking a self-motivated, qualified electrician keen to join our growing team.
About the role
We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced electrical contractor to carry out maintenance and testing of 240V smoke detectors, as well as some 9V battery-powered detectors, and to test and replace RCDs in residential properties. The work is primarily based in Perth, with travel to surrounding areas as required—so a willingness to travel and a genuine enjoyment of driving is essential.
You will start your day from home to your first appointment, using our in-house built app to track your bookings and record all the relevant job information. Each inspection can vary between 10-30 minutes to ensure a property is safe and compliant, whilst travel time between appointments can vary.

$50 per hour leasing company car or $60 per hour using own car

What we are looking for:
Hold a WA Electrician’s A Grade Licence
Have or obtain an ABN (Australian Business Number)
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Professional presentation and self-motivated
Strong customer and safety focus
Familiar with smart phones applications
Please note: Safety comes first at Detector Inspector, as a pre-requisite candidates will be required to complete a National Police Clearance and a Pre-employment Physical Assessment.
