We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic with good exposure to Diesel Generators to join our team.

Qualifications & experience

(Must-have) At least 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic

(Preferred) 3 years of experience with generators

(Preferred) Experience with the following engines: Cummins, Caterpillar, Kubota, Komatsu, Perkins, Isuzu, and Hino

Tasks & responsibilities

Able to investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel standby and prime power generator engines

Make modifications to diesel generator systems, including installation of pre-heaters; battery chargers; fuel systems, and other related diesel parts.

Perform preventive maintenance including checking for leaks, and worn parts, taking oil samples; ordering and installing replacement parts; and adjusting, calibrating, and inspecting the operation of generators.

Prepare records of repairs, maintenance, parts ordered, and parts used.

Document modifications to systems and update manuals.

Assist in transporting equipment, tools, and fluids to and from work sites; operate and maintain equipment, tools, and safety devices that are designed to lift, move, transport, repair, inspect, measure, or protect
