You'll be stepping into a role that combines people leadership, technical direction and delivery management with clear pathways to advance your career in a growing organisation that prioritises progression for its people.

Role Overview

• Split your time equally between hands-on technical contributions and serving as a line manager and mentor for a squad of ~5 engineers.
• Work on a modern .NET, React, and TypeScript codebase, contributing to high-quality engineering solutions.
• Uphold and foster an established high-quality engineering culture and delivery cadence within the team.
• Curate the team’s backlog, prioritising tasks in alignment with the broader development roadmap.

What You'll Ideally Have

• Proven experience as a Team Lead, Engineering Manager or similar role, leading high-performing development teams
• Hands on experience working on modern .NET applications and APIs
• Experience with software practices such as event-driven architecture, SOLID principles, and TDD
• Experience leading small teams, curating backlogs, and prioritising tasks to align with broader development roadmaps.
• An interest in pair programming and acting as a mentor for other engineers

• You have a background as a senior developer with leadership experience and an interest in continuing to grow in this area.
