We’re partnering with a respected state government client to find two experienced Communications Advisors to join their team on a long-term contract through to June 2028.

Based in Buderim, you’ll be part of a collaborative stakeholder management team, supporting the planning and delivery of key transport infrastructure projects across the North Coast Region. It’s a great opportunity to get involved in meaningful work that directly impacts local communities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Crafting and delivering communication and engagement strategies for major projects.
• Providing clear, strategic advice to project teams, senior leaders and technical staff.
• Working closely with stakeholders government agencies, contractors, community groups and more to keep everyone informed and engaged.
• Managing events, public communications, and media matters with confidence and care.
• Ensuring communication activities align with governance and compliance frameworks.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who builds strong relationships and communicates with clarity and purpose.
• A flexible mindset you’re comfortable in changing environments and able to adapt quickly.
• Solid experience in communication or engagement roles within infrastructure, transport or similar sectors.
• Confidence in handling media, public relations and executive-level correspondence.
• A degree in communications, journalism, marketing or public relations would be ideal, but not essential.
• IAP2 certification (or willingness to complete it) will be viewed favourably.

Pay rates
AO5.1 – $67.13/hr
AO5.2 – $69.07/hr
AO5.3 – $71.02/hr
AO5.4 – $72.96/hr
