About the role

RB & CJ Ingram Transport are seeking an experienced MC driver to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. As an MC driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient overnight delivery of goods from Brisbane to Sydney. This is a full-time position that offers competitive remuneration and excellent opportunities for career development.

What you'll be doing

Operate heavy vehicles, such as semi-trailers and B-doubles, in a safe and compliant manner

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness

Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, optimising delivery times

Maintain accurate records of driving activities, work hours, and vehicle maintenance

Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients and other stakeholders

Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies

Depot to depot no loading/unloading, just drive

What we're looking for

A current MC (Multi-Combination) driver's licence and a strong driving record

Minimum 3 years' experience operating heavy vehicles, such as semi-trailers and B-doubles

Excellent knowledge of road rules, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A commitment to safety and a strong safety-first mindset
