About the role

As the Electrical Tradesperson at Aqua Services and Wholesalers, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the electrical workshop, repairing mainly domestic and commercial water pumps up to 10kW, spa controllers, spa heaters and chlorinators. This full-time position is based in Tingalpa, QLD 4173, and will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of electrical repair services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of a small team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
• Providing technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices
• Maintaining detailed records of workshop activities, inventory, and work orders
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient workflows
• Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment within the team
• Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and manage their expectations

What we're looking for

• Qualified electrician/fitter with a valid electrical trades licence for a supervisory role
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and a deep understanding of relevant safety standards and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the team
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools for workshop operations
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and workflow optimisation
