Our client located in Broadmeadows is a manufacturing industry leader in their field, designing and manufacturing interior solutions for many of Australia's leading transport companies.

They are currently looking for a general hand / factory metal worker with powder coating experience to join the business in their large modern factory which provides the best in design and manufactured products.

The 38 work week is worked over 4 days - meaning every Friday is a day off!

About you:

• Recent experience in a manufacturing environment - preferably with some powder coating experience but this is not essential
• Ability to use hand and power / air tools.
• The ability to read instructions and interpret basic instructions and drawings.
• Proven ability to produce work to a high standard.
• Previous experience fabricating metal frames in a production environment would be highly regarded.
• A strong commitment to safety & all WHS policies
• Willingness to learn

About the role

• Varied role within the factory - full training will be provided
• Fabricating, cutting and preparation of metals for the team
• Assembling products
• Providing production support to other areas when needed
