Our client is a renowned supplier of processing and packaging solutions to various sectors of the food industry. We are seeking an enthusiastic Field Service Technician to join their operations and help maintain their reputation for technical expertise and outstanding customer service.

Your day-to-day will revolve around working with high quality, cutting edge machinery and equipment within food production settings. Your duties will include:

• Installation and commissioning of new machinery including end-user training
• Carrying out regular and preventative maintenance on customer sites
• Attending to machine breakdowns as required and troubleshooting
• Providing technical support and advice to customers remotely and in-person
• Completion of accurate service reports

Our successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Relevant trade/tertiary qualifications – mechanical, electrical, mechatronic etc.
• Previous experience in Field Service or Internal Maintenance of industrial machinery/equipment
• Well developed fault finding process and a strong eye for detail
• Understanding of PLCs and related automation processes
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work overtime and travel as required within NSW and interstate
• An electrical licence (full or restricted) is a significant advantage
