About the role

We are seeking an experienced MR truck driver to join our team at Mickeys trust' in Hendra, QLD on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across our fleet of medium-sized trucks, playing a key part in the overall success of our road transport operations.

What you'll be doing

Operate medium-sized (MR class) trucks to transport goods and materials safely and on time

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness

Adhere to all relevant road rules, regulations, and company policies

Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation

Liaise with dispatch and customers to provide delivery updates

Load and unload trucks as required

Support the wider transport and logistics team as needed

What we're looking for

Valid MR truck driving license

no experience required training provided to drive truck MR trucks

Strong knowledge of road rules and regulations

Excellent driving and navigational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills

Commitment to safety and attention to detail
