About the role

Kirkbright Seafood Co Pty Ltd is seeking a Seafood Retail Assistant to join our team in Unley, South Australia. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment.

What you'll be doing

Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their seafood purchases

Merchandising and stocking seafood products to maintain a well-presented and fully stocked display

Handling and preparing fresh seafood products in accordance with food safety standards

Cashiering and operating the point of sale system

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the retail space

Assisting with inventory management and stock control

Supporting the broader retail team as needed

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or hospitality role, preferably in the food industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service

Familiarity with handling and preparing fresh seafood products

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
