We are currently seeking qualified Carpenters to work with one of Perth's biggest shires. Positions are considered ongoing casual offering full time hours.

The Role

The role will commence ASAP and hours are generally Monday - Friday 6.00am - 3.00pm with 1 rostered day off each fortnight.

As part of the Building and Maintenance team, you'll assist with a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across council-owned facilities.

Key Requirements:

Trade-qualified Carpenter (Australian-recognised qualifications)

White Card

National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)

Australian Driver's Licence

Working at Heights ticket

Able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening

Desirable Skills:

Solid understanding of industry regulations and standards

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Previous local government or council work experience (advantageous)

Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
