Salary: $110,000 - $115,000 (Dependent on Experience)

DC Search has partnered with a respected leader in the renewable energy sector to recruit an experienced Field Service Technician for a utility-scale solar farm near Dubbo/Parkes, NSW. This hands-on role focuses on operations and maintenance (O&M), helping ensure the site performs at peak efficiency.

What you’ll be doing:

Perform daily O&M tasks including testing, fault finding, and scheduled maintenance

Carry out HV switching with a focus on safety and compliance

Respond to breakdowns and diagnose electrical faults efficiently

Maintain accurate records to support site compliance and reporting

Contribute to a team culture that prioritises safety, accountability, and improvement

Key Requirements:

NSW Electrical Licence (or Mutual Recognition)

HV Switching Ticket (highly desirable)

LVR/CPR certification

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

Experience on utility-scale solar or large electrical infrastructure

Strong diagnostic skills and confidence working on electrical systems
