Are you passionate about quality and have a strong eye for detail? Do you thrive in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same? Join our team and play a key role in ensuring our heavy vehicle products meet the highest standards before reaching our customers.
STG Global is a market leader in the manufacture of Vacuum, Water, Service and Tilt Tray Trucks. The STG Global head office is located in Melbourne, and backed up by Qld, Western Australia and NSW operations, we can easily relocate and support vehicles all around the country.
With over 30 years of experience, STG Global offers world-class specialised and innovative products that enhance functionality, increase efficiency and productivity; with modulated designs that are suitable for fitment to the chassis of medium to heavy vehicles
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join our dynamic operations team in our Dandenong Facility. This hands-on role is critical in upholding the quality and reliability of our heavy vehicle builds prior to delivery. You will be responsible for conducting end-to-end inspections, identifying and documenting faults, and working closely with the production and operations teams to ensure all issues are resolved promptly and to standard.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform full product inspections of completed heavy vehicles before they are dispatched
Identify, record, and report any faults or non-conformances
Liaise with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve quality issues
Ensure all vehicles meet internal quality standards and client specifications
Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain quality control documentation and inspection records
Support continuous improvement initiatives in production quality
Ensure products meet regulatory and safety standards prior to release
About You:
Previous experience in quality assurance, inspection, or production within the automotive or manufacturing industry
High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solver
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and compliance standards
Excellent attention to detail with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
HR Licence so you can test run our products
Physically fit and comfortable working on the factory floor inspecting large vehicles
Why Join Us?
At STG Global, you’ll be part of a proudly Australian company committed to innovation, reliability, and delivering industry-leading service trucks and vehicles. You’ll work with a supportive and passionate team who take pride in building products that perform in the harshest environments
What We Offer:
A stable, full-time role with a growing Australian business
Supportive team environment with strong operational collaboration
Opportunity to be part of a company that values quality, safety, and innovation.
