A family-owned small business based in Perth seeks a proactive candidate to join our team. LAC Group operates in a variety of industry sectors including domestic and commercial construction, commercial laundry equipment and operations, design, and technology. We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Laundry Delivery Driver for our laundry operations who has a passion for being in a customer-facing role as a Laundry Delivery Driver.

Position Description

Multiple pickups and delivers within the Perth metropolitan area

Systematic loading of vehicle to ensure efficient completion of routes

Interacting with customers to ensure that expectation levels are being met

Ability to fill out paperwork in a clear concise manner

Essential Criteria

Valid C Class driver’s licence with reliable transport

Have current (and renewed yearly as required) with Influenza and COVID vaccinations

Comply with aged care requirements including wearing of face masks when required

Provide a National Police Certificate date no later than 2 months

Must be always reliable and punctual

Strong commitment to safety – the use of PPE is mandatory

Able to complete a Drug and Alcohol Screening

Able to understand and communicate effectively with well spoken English

Self-motivated, you take pride in your work and appearance

An enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable professional

Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

Familiar with cleaning agents and operation of laundry equipment

Able to safely undertake manual handling tasks in a physically demanding role

Able to interpret daily run sheets, follow work instructions and have sound time management skills

Prior experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential

Shift Hours

Wednesday - 8AM to 4PM

Thursday - 8AM to 4PM

* Additional shift time may be required due to daily traffic fluctuations

* Relief work on alternative days may be required but not mandatory
