Carroll Group Aus is a family owned and operated transport business based in Southeast Queensland offering a range of transport services to a variety of industries including, Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction and Renewables.
We are currently looking for a Transport Administration Clerk to help support the growth of our business.
Reporting directly to the Transport Manager, you will be providing administrative support to our Transport operations and will include a variety of functions within the business.
With this in mind, we are looking for a person who is innovative and outcome focused, open to dynamic thought processes and can multitask well.
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Creation of consignment notes
- Updating internal systems with shipment information
- Answering customer enquiries
- Communicating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Processing financial information
- Matching of shipment documents and uploading of documents to internal and external systems.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Minimum 3 year experience in a similar role
- Understanding of the transport industry
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to take instruction and work autonomously
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication, time management and multi-tasking skills
- High level of IT Systems including TMS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite and Xero (preferred but not essential)
Hours of work are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday – Friday based in our office at Berrinba.
