THE OPPORTUNITY (Multiple positions available)

Due to continued growth, we have multiple opportunities for general Labourers (preferably with Forklift licences), Riggers, and EWP over 11M Operators for a project based in Yatala, QLD. Normal working hours are 53 hours per week Mon - Fri. We are looking for local workers who are experienced, reliable and highly motivated to contribute to the delivery of the project on time, with future opportunities available within the company for the right people. As a member of the Montaze Broz team, you will play a crucial role in the installation of our cutting-edge racking systems, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

All positions require a full driving licence & White Card

Working at Heights, EWP over 11M and forklift = highly desirable

Physical ability to effectively perform manual labour

Labourers - minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction, forklift licence is highly desired

Riggers - Rigging licence, minimum 2 years industry experience

EWP/Telehandler Operators - As above, with WAH, EWP over 11M, CN licence is highly desirable

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Labourers

Manual handling of materials and assisting with site setup and clean-up

Assisting with the assembly and installation of racking and shelving systems

Sorting, unpacking and organising steel frames and components

Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Operating forklifts (if licensed), or assisting forklift operators with loading/unloading

Riggers

Safely rigging and directing loads using appropriate lifting equipment

Assisting in the positioning and installation of structural components

Conducting pre-start equipment checks and ensuring all lifting gear is compliant

Working closely with crane operators, supervisors, and EWP operators on complex lifts

EWP/Telehandler Operators

Operating elevated work platforms up to 30M high and/or telehandlers in a safe and controlled manner

Supporting the assembly and installation process from heights

Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting any equipment faults

Complying with all site-specific high-risk work procedures

Assisting with ground-level tasks when not operating equipment
