We are currently seeking two experienced Mechanical Fitters / Fitter Machinist to join our client site in a full-time capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for qualified Fitters and Machinists who specialise in mechanical fitting and are looking to work with a reliable, long-term employer that offers a great variety of work.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for a wide range of mechanical fitting tasks, including gearbox overhauls, hydraulic system maintenance, and occasional field service work. This role is suited to skilled tradespeople who are self-motivated, reliable, and confident working independently when required.

Full-time, permanent position – Starting from $90K + Super

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (day shift only) , minimum OT - Work and Life Balance

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct preventative maintenance and servicing routines.

Perform mechanical repairs and breakdown maintenance on industrial machinery.

Strip, overhaul, and reassemble gearboxes

Strip and replace seals in hydraulic cylinders

Read hydraulic schematics and fault-find hydraulic systems

What We’re Looking For:

Australian Trade qualified Fitter and Machinist

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Ability to work both in a workshop and the field with minimal supervision
