What you'll be doing
Join the passionate team at the Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit (MOCTU), where you’ll play a key role in advancing cancer treatment and improving patient outcomes. This role offers exciting leadership opportunities in a supportive, innovative environment. In this role you will:

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to navigate complex trial submissions.
  • Guide the team on regulatory and ethical matters while ensuring smooth operations.
  • Mentor and inspire junior staff, fostering growth and collaboration.
  • Take ownership in assessing risks and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Shape policies and improve processes, driving excellence in clinical research.

How to Apply

  • Tertiary qualification in a health or discipline or an equivalent combination of education/training or experience.
  • High proficiency using the REGIS system.
  • Extensive experience in ethics and regulatory submission processes for clinical trials, including pharmaceutical industry-sponsored interventional treatment trials.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise guidance to stakeholders on ethics and regulatory requirements for Phase 1 trials.
  • Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, provide guidance, mentoring and promote professional growth within a team.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
