Skillen Plumbing Contractors Pty Ltd are looking for a qualified plumber to join our team. This is a full-time position with unique and exciting opportunities offered.

About the role: You will be working on a wide variety of projects throughout Victoria where no day is the same. These projects vary in maintenance and new projects in new builds and fit outs, private clients, government work, local council work, education and health facility works, farm and agriculture maintenance and water treatment plant maintenance.

You will be provided with a brand new company van and have access too company tools and equipment at your disposal to complete your daily jobs. You will have on site support from apprentices and expected to pass on the skills of the trade to them. You will have support at all times having a boss that is still on the tools everyday and reachable should you require advice or support. This is a unique opportunity as we are one of few companies that specialise and trade in all aspects within the plumbing industry.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for individuals who are keen, self-motivated, dedicated, result driven, hardworking, respectful and looking to expand and grown in a growing company. This role is suitable for junior and mature aged applicants. The successful applicant will also have the following:

Construction induction card (white card)

Driver's licence

Hand tools

Be reliable, punctual and take pride in their work & presentation

Have an approachable & coachable attitude

Excellent communication skills

Available to work overtime if required

Prepared to travel to regional projects when required

Working with children's check (upon request)

Police check (upon request)

Plant & equipment accreditation/experience (Preferred but not a necessity)
