About the role

Health Personnel Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Radiographer to join a client based in the heart of Melbourne. Victoria.

This is a hospital based role, with the dates June 2nd through to September 25th.

Monday to Friday only, no on call. 8.30am- 5pm

Machines onsite are predominantly Shimadzu

Paediatric experience is beneficial, however not essential.

What you'll be doing

Performing a range of radiographic examinations, including general radiography.

Ensuring the accurate and timely production of high-quality diagnostic images

Providing exceptional patient care by guiding and positioning patients during procedures, addressing their needs, and ensuring their comfort and safety

Adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Radiographer

Demonstrated experience in a similar locum or diagnostic imaging role, preferably within a healthcare setting

Excellent technical skills in operating a range of radiographic equipment and imaging modalities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals

Attention to detail, a commitment to high-quality patient care, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
