About the role

324 Medical Specialists Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Adamstown, NSW on a part-time basis. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic cardiac imaging services to our patients, using advanced ultrasound technology to support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.

What you'll be doing

• Performing a range of cardiac ultrasound examinations, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms
• Capturing, analysing, and interpreting cardiac images to assist in the diagnosis and management of heart diseases
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring the accurate documentation of all procedures
• Adhering to strict quality control measures and safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient care
• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Recognised qualification in cardiac sonography or echocardiography
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cardiac Sonographer in a clinical setting
• Extensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Proficiency in the use of advanced ultrasound equipment and software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients and healthcare professionals
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality
• Adaptability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
