The DevOps Engineer will work part of a small & close-knit team, working on cutting-edge technologies to continue enhancing the company's technical capabilities for further future innovation. Working in a highly secure environment, with very sensitive data, the DevOps Engineer will play an important role in designing, implementing and maintaining highly secure CI/CD pipelines.

What you will be doing:

• Design, Implement and Maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Act as a SME in building and managing on-premise virtualized infrastructure with IaC
• Ensure high availability and scalability of systems
• Colllaborate with other Devops Engineers to make sure of Devops best practices
• Analyse weaknesses to optimise infrastructure and application performance
• Implement highly secure solutions aligned with DevSecOps practices
• Act as an escalation point for junior engineers and aid their development
• Ensure excellent documentation

What skills you will need:

• Must have 5+ years experience of DevOps Engineering
• Experience working with highly sensitive, highly secure data
• Proven experience working with on-premise /virtualized Infrastructure ( this is not a Public Cloud position)
• Extensive experience with Unix/Linux systems, in particular RHEL
• Proven containerisation and orchestration experience with Kubernetes & Docker in production environments
• Proficiency with coding such as Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Background in enterprise DC infrastructure, Networking, Storage technologies
• Must be an Australian Citizen ( Security Clearance = Bonus )
