About the Opportunity:
This is a rare chance to step into a permanent role working directly with Rio Tinto. As an Auto Electrician, you'll play a hands-on role in maintaining a high-performing mobile fleet across a leading mining operation.

Roster: 8/6 – 7/7 FIFO from Perth (residential options may also be available)
Full-time permanent position
Site: Rio Tinto operations in the Pilbara

Position Overview:
As an Auto Electrician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of Rio Tinto spec mobile mining equipment. Your key duties will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
• Installing and maintaining electrical accessories and systems
• Troubleshooting electronic fuel injection, ignition, and transmission issues
• Performing breakdown repairs, servicing, and component changeouts

What We're Looking For:

• Australian-recognised Auto Electrical trade qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ post-trade experience in mining
• Strong background with surface mobile equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi)
• Current A/C & Refrigeration Licence
• Manual C Class Driver’s Licence
• Able to pass a full pre-employment medical
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (mandatory)
