A new and exciting full-time opportunity has arisen for a workers' compensation claims advisor to step into a Consultancy role at PSC Workers Compensation Services Pty Ltd.

You will join a team of highly experienced, technically astute and ambitious insurance and risk management professionals in a culture that promotes innovation through the sharing of ideas and encourages professional development, training and success.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the workers' compensation claim management by the insurer for PSC Broker clientele. This may involve but not be limited to:

Initial screening and lodgment of claim notifications in relevant insurer portals and the internal claim management system (Injury Master),

Daily inbox management and workflow,

Facilitating and attending regular claim strategy meetings with the insurer and client to determine next steps at each milestone,

Generating and preparing monthly claim reports for broker updates,

Assist the client with confirming compensable pay rate by providing relevant information to the insurer,

Ensuring compliance with WorkCover regulations,

Other general ad-hoc duties to support a team of 4 Injury Management Consultants.

Your work environment may be varied as you may be required to work off-site and attend client meetings. Some interstate travel may be expected of you.

To be consider for this role, it is essential that you possess the following skillset:

A minimum of 2 years of proven experience working in a similar discipline within Workers Compensation,

Excellent written and verbal communication;

Ability to form and build on successful professional relationships with all key stakeholders including insurers, medical and allied health providers and internal broker networks,

A moderate understanding of the WA legislation and Workers Compensation practices,

Experience with prioritising competing demands and meeting deadlines,

Capability to work autonomously.
