We believe teaching children through Nature is the most nurturing and natural way for children to learn about the real world they grow and live in. We are a privately run Early Learning Centre located in Canning Vale, where nature and the natural environment is our classroom for children with weekly nature walks in the nature parks that surround us. We have a strong sense of community and connecting our children to the world around them promoting their sense of Belonging. Our educator's design, implement and evaluate programs that are innovative and contemporary, based on current research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting and delivering a quality education program based on the individual needs of each child based on the National Quality Framework
• Understanding and ability in building respectful and trusting relationship with each individual child and families
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for the children and adequate supervise children to ensure that they are protected from harm and hazard
• Work collaborative with all educators and families and communicate effectively in a team environment
• Engage in community walks and excursions with our children
Qualified Room Leader to join our current experienced team of educators in both leading and assisting rooms with planning and documentation while growing our children in their individual learning journeys.
Successful candidates will be highly motivated and passionate about the Early Childhood sector and must have the following:
• Previous experience as a Room Leader
• Diploma of Early Childhood or working towards required
• Solid Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Regulations and National Quality Standards
• You will have excellent communication skills, and ability to build trusted relationships with families and the wider community.
What else you will need to bring
• A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
• Available to work Monday to Friday between 7:00am – 6:00pm

Salary $70,000-$75,000 annually (AUD)
