Our client in Willoughby is seeking a dedicated and hard-working individual for the position of Street Cleansing Operator.

This role is essential in supporting the street sweeping program, ensuring high-quality operation and maintenance of street sweeping equipment. When sweeping operations are not in progress, you will assist with other tasks such as CBD cleaning. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive and operate a mechanical or suction type sweeper to collect and remove rubbish and debris from public council areas.

Carry out basic daily maintenance on sweepers.

Comply with safety policies and practices.

Foster a positive team environment through professional communication and collaboration.

Essential Requirements:

Current Class C Drivers license

Previous experience working in the cleansing or waste industry.

Good written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of WHS principles and legislation

Flexibility to work across various services, including weekends and public holidays

Strong attendance record and eligibility to work in Australia
